RISE
Domestic violence is the leading cause of injury to women. Oftentimes women remain in violent relationships due to fear of scrutiny from family and friends, distrust of the the system and intervention services, and fear of escalating violence. Rise provides pro bono services to these female victims at any stage of a civil injunction proceeding. We pledge to provide free legal assistance to cooperating victims in an effort to eliminate the legal obstacles that prevent separation from these abusive relationships.

Through partnerships with local after-school programs, Isaiah’s Brothers, promotes literacy and encourages higher education among young men.
